Rated 1 out of 5 by from Battery fails I bought one Friday, came home, opened it, didn’t work. I put it to charge for 4 hours. Can’t make it work. Red light still flashing as if the battery hasn’t charged. Plugged it all night with another cable in my computer USB port this time. Didn’t work. I returned it to the store, the replacement they gave me does the same thing. Pretty disappointed since the reviews are great and this is the model I wanted.

The bottom was very hard to open, the charge cord is too short. I am definitely disappointed. Was looking forward to having this speaker work, it is nothing more than a paper weight!

I have had this speaker for a few months now and wow, it’s done me great, the sound quality is excellent and the loudness is next level, however I submerged it in water for a couple of minutes and now doesn’t seem to turn on, please will someone reply to this if they had had any similarities.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brand new doesn’t work I just bought this speaker today. Got it home and charged it for 4 hours. Took it off the charger and had a flashing red light. Tried turning it on and it does literally nothing except flash red. Took it back to the store and exchanged it with a new one. Brought it home and guess what? The exact same thing. I spent over $100 in store on this speaker, and have t even been able to use it. I’m livid and feel as though I wasted my money, especially since I drove a grand total of 400km to buy and replace this speaker. I live 100km away from the nearest store. I personally think Jam needs to recall these speakers and figure out the problem as I have read numerous other reviews on different sites where people were experiencing the same problem. In total, it has probably cost me nearly $250 for a speaker that doesn’t work if you include the cost of fuel driving back and forth from the store.

Q & A

I now have a second one. After the first one wouldn’t turn on, just constantly flashes red, so got a replacement and low and behold exactly the same thing. There must be a way to reset these things ? It Is supposed to come precharged, disappointed

Why does my jam speaker not work after being submerged in water for around 5 minutes?   I have had this speaker nearly 4 months and it’s done me good,however im not happy that the speaker is waterproof and after being in water it WILL NOT. Turn on

How do you charge it

To down load the manual for your speaker please follow the below link and then select "JAM Zero Chill" from the drop down menu, and click on download: https://uk.jamaudio.com/customer-support/instruction-books To connect a Bluetooth device please press and hold the power button (between the X and O) for 3 seconds you should then see the red and blue light flashing and the speaker is ready to pair. How do I check the battery on my speaker

Dear Yoboyryan033, Please note that the battery level can be checked on the device connected to your speaker. Please also note that when the LED flashes red, it indicates that the battery is low and it’s time to plug in and recharge. Charge for about 3 hours to get up to 22 hours of play time; while charging, the light will stay solid red. Once fully charged, the LED will turn off. Kind regards, Jam Team

How do you tell when the speaker is turned on? The light doesn't come on and from looking at the spec sheet the power button has five functions. How does the power button work? Doesn't show up in the bluetooth browser either. Can't tell if it is working!
