Customer Reviews

Out There On-Ear Wireless Headphones is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not charge or turn on I bought this product one week ago. I successfully charged it once. After using it and depleting the charge, the USB connection built into the base of the left ear piece failed to make a connection and the headphones would not charge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very close to jam Transit performance 90% Bought these from Best Buy they lasted three months then snapped took them back. Best Buy discontinued carrying them. Wish they came in a carrying case like the jam Transit did.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Out there black Sound quality is exceptional let down by substandard building materials.. I have stronger cutlery. Also a customer service department that don't respond. I had less than 3 weeks and the bar on top snapped rendering them useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wont turn on after 6 months headphones wont turn on after 6 months of use. Fully charged them overnight but long pressing the power button wont do anything anymore

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great when they work Set1 stopped charging after a week. Set2 snapped as I was putting them on my head (common fault per other reviews.).set3 right ear loose-awful noise when the noise cancelling function is used. Also, the right ear doesn't play any sound when wired which is bizarre since it works over Bluetooth. I don't want to go and get a fourth pair as honestly I'm sick of faffing now. If this pair gets any more I obviously will have to. But in the meantime I'll be emailing jam directly with my feedback.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Were fine until they snapped. I bought these about 2 months ago. They were fine. Then one day I slid them on as normal and the band snapped. I am not rough on headphones. As theses are used for work and gym they see a bit more use than my production headphones, but nothing bending the band.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't charge The headphones will not stay charged. Had a few months of use now won't charge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easily broken I bought this around 1 to 1 and a half months ago and it has already broken. This had occurred right after I placed in on an one and a half meter bedside table and it fell off. I know this was my fault but when it hit the floor it snapped on the part that fits around your head. I’m very disappointed at this. The audio still works fine in both ears but the actual frame is broken. 1/5 Stars!

Q & A

Hello, I want to use these while watching tv in bed. Will they work with a tv? I don't use Bluetooth.

Asked by: Lin01
Thank you for your question. You can use these headphones with your TV if you are connected through the audio cable that it comes with. Yo may have an issue connecting the headphones through Bluetooth, which is why we do not recommend.

How does tge Bluetooth fonction work..??

Asked by: Tiberube
Thank you for your question. Long press the "play/pause" button for 3 seconds to turn on your headphones. Once turned on, the headphones will immediately search for a device to pair to; the LED will blink red and blue alternately. Enable Bluetooth on your device. From the Bluetooth menu, select "Out There." When the device and Out There are connected, you will hear a tone and the LED will turn solid blue.

When using the Out There headphones with a cable, do the volume buttons still function, or is it only controlled by the device? I want to use them plugged into RCA audio outputs on back of tv that has no headphone socket.

Asked by: stevet48
Dear Stevet48, As our headphones are designed to be used with mobile devices and devices with an AUX out or a Headphone socket we have not tested the headphones to see if this would work through a RCA output. Kind Regards, JAM Customer Services.

How’d u connect the Bluetooth

Asked by: David1390
Dear David1390, Please note that once turned on, the headphones will immediately search for a device to pair to; the LED will blink red and blue alternately. Enable Bluetooth on your device. From the Bluetooth menu, select "Out There". When the device and "Out There" are connected, you will hear a tone and the LED will turn solid blue. Once paired, your device and headphones will find each other every time, as long as your device’s Bluetooth is on. If you’re connecting to a computer, you may have a few more steps on that end. You’ll have to get that information from the computer company. Kind regards, Jam Audio Team

Will my headphones connect to any blue tooth device? And can more then 1 be paired?

Asked by: Jo14
Dear Jo14, Our headphones are designed to listen to music through mobile devices such as phones, tablets, Mp3 players and Turntables. You can have a pairing to more than one device however the sound will only play from one device at a time. To switch, turn the Bluetooth off of the device that you are finished using and on, on the new device if the headphones have been previously paired to that device it will automatically connect to it. You can only pair one set of our headphones to a device at a time. Kind Regards, JAM Customer services.
